Lights Out Vista Sidebar
The playfield is made up of a 5 x 5 grid of lights. Clicking a light will toggle its state (On/Off) as well as the lights above, below, left, and to the right (no wrap-around for edge lights).
The main goal is to turn off all the lights in the least number of moves. Each board has a minimum number of moves necessary, and you are allowed a maximum of 10 additional moves above the minimum. If you use more than the maximum allowed, you will not be able to advance to the next board.
Scoring is based on a running total number of moves made in solving each board, and solving each board in the minimum number of necessary moves will achieve the best (lowest) score. A perfect game is 525 total moves across 50 boards.
To help you keep track of your moves, the UI shows moves made so far, over the minimum necessary. Example: “M:3/6″ means 3 moves so far, for board that has a minimum solution of 6 moves. Also, the maximum will be 16 moves.
